Quilted wall hanging (30" x 29") in dramatic red, black, and white, meticulously pieced of high-quality cotton and hand-quilted in contrasting thread for greater visual impact. Ohio Star is a traditional patchwork pattern featuring solid blocks in the center and the corners alternating with four blocks of intersecting triangles forming the points of a star. In my version, the five blocks which would be one solid fabric in the traditional version are also in the form of Ohio Stars--hence the label "Doubled"--using a variety of black-on-white prints for the background.
