Quilted wall hanging (17.5" x 18") of high-quality cotton, featuring an intriguing Australian Aboriginal print. The design is a variation of the traditional quilt block called "Drunkard's Path," in honor of the Aboriginal custom of "going walkabout," following invisible paths through the wilderness guided by directions in ancient songs. The path may seem random, but as Tolkien reminds us, "Not all those who wander are lost." Some apparently meandering journeys can be full of meaning.

Like all my quilts, this is hand-quilted with mitered corners and hand-turned binding.
